The village of San Lorenzo de Balafia, in San Juan area, is a compulsory visit. Apart from seven houses and two towers, just opposite the church and by the restaurant La Paloma, there is an outside seating where they serve amazing breakfasts with 100% organic and natural produce. Nothing better to get some energy!!

To eat by the beach, one of the most famous restaurants amongst the Ibiza people is Joan ‘El Bigotes’. Placed in Cala Mastella (San Carlos), you must book personally, since they have no phone and be there early since they serve the catch of the day and it goes quickly. A must is the “Bullit de peix”.

In the centre of the island, you have Santa Gertrudis, one of the most appreciated villages for its calm and peacefulness. It is also well known for its “tapas” and titbits; the sandwiches of the Bar Costa are a must (the best of the island). Inside the bar you can enjoy a collection of paintings of the 60s and 70s, when the hippy artists exchanged their works for food.

Ganesha is the vintage shop in Dalt Vila (C/ Montgrí, 14) where you can find Ibiza’s goddesses purchasing the most delightful models. If you want to buy a pure Ibiza style dress, the genuine local designer is Harvey Musin (Plaça de la Constitució, 7). And, if you are looking for a surprising shop, Sluiz Creative Shooping (Ctra. Ibiza-San Jose, km 8) is a very innovative space, where you will find the latest in fashion, complements and decoration.

In Cap Negret (San Antonio) you can find Hostal la Torre. Enjoy the most outstanding sunsets of the island from their panoramic terrace.

‘Las Puertas del Cielo’ (in Santa Inés) is a cliff where the view to the sea starts right below your feet and ends up in the horizon. They call it so ((Heaven’s doors) because they say the sea currents draw a pathway to the horizon over the water’s surface. You must get there with daylight to enjoy the landscape and the different pathways.

Nothing better than a relax session in the spa in the Hotel Hacienda Na Xamena (San Miguel). The pleasure of its suspended waterfalls route, that uses the power of sea water heated up at 37º, is directly proportional to the beauty of the landscape of the cliff where it stands.
